Question by Tyler: How come I have the desire sometimes for percocet still?
Hi, I am a recent sufferer of a drug addiction, and I was taking generic narcotic pain pills for percocet. I took the pills after surgery, and I stopped for a while until last winter when I just noticed them in the medicine cabinet. After I took a dosage, I started wanting more, and I did more until all 80 pills from the prescription were gone. Whenever I took the drug I would go into a dream like or floating state, yet I was still aware of realtiy.

This sent me into complete withdrawl from the drug and I got very depressed an suicidal, so I seeked help through counseling, until I felt I uncovered what was causing my depression–withdrawl.

I know I am better now, and I stay away from narcotics, yet for some reason I will occaisionally say or think, “I really with I had soem percocets, for the effects.”

Does anyone know why this is? Is it natural?

Hi. I am not exactly sure of why u r having these “spells” rather. But I am sorry. What you said about withdrawl; its probably true. Just to let you know your not alone, I sometimes have these urges for Seroquel. It dosent get me high, it makes me tired. It’s sometimes my way of escaping. And No, I am not on it and havent been in a while. So I guess overall, i think it is probably the natural way of feeling like your pain free, and I guess drugs help. Nothin’ much, but hope this is sime resurgence for help. You can contact me anytime. ; – )
