How can people make Cocaine in a safer way?

Question by TuX: How can people make Cocaine in a safer way?
Like I know these drugs are illegal because of how bad they are for you. But thats because they are made from like gasoline and explosives. lol But can’t they make it in labs and have a synthetic version? Kind of like comparing Heroin to Oxycottin. They are practically the same except taken differently and one is stronger.

By the way I would never attempt to make Cocaine. I have more important things to do like brew my own Wine if im gonna make drugs. Mmmmm yum 🙂
No you’re wrong. Coca is grown but they use it to make the Cocaine. lol

Cocaine is naturally grown, extracted, dried and compressed. It’s mixed with a bunch of crap like deodorant so it’ll be consumable. That is, ironically, the safest way people “make” coke. They could probably make a similar drug, but nothing beats nature and if it does, it just lead to the steady decline of the human race. Sorry bud, you’ve failed on this question.

Trouble answering this odd curiosity is ALL this incorrect information.
Heroin and OxyContin are NOT the same! The only things OxyContin and Heroin have in common:
Both are opiates; both are addictive; both can cause death. The slang term hillbilly heroin for OxyContin refers to the occurrence of the “earliest reported cases of Oxycontin abuse” in the U.S. in rural areas such as Appalachia.

Gasoline or explosives is not why Drugs are illegal. If they are used to make drugs that is not “why drugs are bad” or seen as bad for you.

The term “designer drug” was first coined by law enforcement in the 1980s and is exactly what you are describing. Synthetic drugs have been around for 80+ years!

Got no worries that the ingredients can be obtained!! To make cocaine gotta live where the Coca plant is grown and the plant is not imported to the US. Can’t even make CocaWine: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cocaine

Most coca is used for the illegal drug trade but Coca is grown for traditional purposes by indigenous communities. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coca
