Question by Jennifer: How can I persuade my husband to go to rehab?
My husbands friend just recently informed me that my husband has a pill and cocaine addiction. I know that the pill addiction is the “main” one. Im not sure how or when he did cocaine.I do however know that the amount of money that has vanished within the last 8 mths is insane. Heres my problem..my husband SWEARS he doesnt do drugs. He refused rehab, will not take my calls, and wants a divorce from his “psychotic wife who makes things up”. I begged, I threatened. Im so scared I just lost my husband. Also we are about to get our taxes back in a few weeks ($ 10,000). We are homeless and need that money for a place to live. Im sure its going to be blown on drugs. I know you cant force anyone to get unwanted help, but does anybody have suggestion on how to save him?? Ive told him I will take all of our children and divorce him, I will tell his family, I told him how in love with him and our family I am, I would stand by his side and help him through this. Again, he says hes not using drugs.
My husband has a prescription for vicodin. I thought it was his own medication he was taking. Ive been trying to monitor his intake and recently found out hes selling his script for stronger ones and of course just buying more to pop. I think the coke is more of a “social thing”. He is in complete denial. Obviously he lies to me and always has an excuse for everything so maybe thats how he hid it from me??? Thank you to all the others who answered with intelligence. I called his sister and at least now have her support. As much as it pains me I will have to go to the court house Monday morning and file for custody and whatnot. As far as the taxes Im going to look into what I can do. Thank you people.

i mean its sad to say but u cant help anyone that doesnt wana help themselves….give him an ultimatum
