You should have a Back application that comes with windows that is located in the start/programs/accessories/system tools.

you may also want to try clonezilla, it is a free backup application. It makes a backup image of you hard drive just like Norton Ghost®, does and you can recover from that. Norton Ghost is also a great program with more functionality but it cost money.
