Question by Forgiving soul: How can I get the love of my life to quit drinking?
He is 21 about to be 22, he drinks a lot everyday and his father was an alcoholic. He tries so hard not to be like him but you see a lot of similarities in personality. His father used to cheat and beat his mother when he was drinking. My man does not do that as far as I know but he always tries to pick fights after he mixes his beer with liquor. What can I do to help him. He always is sorry the next day.

ask him what truly conflicts him.
tell him to just tell you everything, and don’t judge him. He probably drinks to forget, just tell him to trust you. If he loves you he will trust you.
