Question by local yahoo user: how can i get help for a pregnant (8 months) fam. member who is severely addicted to heroin? she is in denial?
none of her doc’s/nurses will give me any info or numbers, and every treatment center I call says she must go willingly. I’m scared for the baby obviously and it must be so common of a problem in society that no one else is as alarmed as I am…please help/advise. She is in St. Louis

DO NOT use accutane, as if you are pregnant, it will SEVERELY deform the baby!! I took it two years ago and my doctor had to do monthly pregnancy tests by drawing blood no less. Once she has the baby, it’s safe for her to get started on it, however.
