Question by Hmmm?!: How can I EXPEDITE the process of getting the DEPO shot OUT of my system?
I took my first shot in February 2009. It seemed great and the ONLY side effect that I noticed was minor spotting for a couple of days.
I got my 2nd shot at the end of May 2009. This time was MUCH worse. I had severe spotting regularly EVERY day for 30 days straight up until 2 weeks ago. Also, I noticed massive hair loss AND rapid weight gain. I HAVE NOT changed my eating habits and I do a light work out at least twice a week. Usually, this regiment helped me maintain my weight. Now, I’ve gained 11 lbs and I cannot lose it no matter how much I work out. I am totally frustrated with this shot!! I am due for another one this week and I WILL NOT take it. I want it out…ASAP! I read all the blogs on how long it can be in my system and possible detox methods, but does anyone have a sure-fire method or experience that I can possibly imitate to get similar (if not), the same outcome? I am desperate to take back control of my body!!!

I have 2 friend that had the same problem one had her period for 6 months straight and gained so much weight and another who gained like 30 lbs once you go off it it can take about 6 months to get it out of the system there is really nothing you can do except maybe drink alot of water
