My G.F(fiance also) & i have been together for 4+years and enaged for over a year and a half. about 2yrs ago i got hurt at work and was prescribed pain killers (percoet) for the wound. i became addicted to them and it progressed. we broke-up in march/2010 & when that happened i lost it and now im completely addicted to Opitates and im heartbroken over this. im going to inpatient detox/rehab tomorrow and she says she can never Gain back my trust she’ll never be able to trust me again theirs been too many broken promises lies sneaky moves hiding & covering up lies with lies.She still loves me!! she told me. I know it. She loves the ME that she fell inlove with all most 5yrs ago NOT the person i am now. She thinks hes lost & never will come back, that i’ll never change & keep goig back to the drugs…..i know she wants me back and is still inlove with me. what im worried about is she says shes not waiting around or me to change.. shes had it and that thats. What im worried about is while im gone she meets someone or she gets with anyone and she doesnt wait for me when i come home.i have a strong feeling that she will wait for me but theirs always doubts. …i know its going to take time and alot of work to earn her trust back as well as us getting back together. i am willing to do it im all for it.. she on the other hand is confused and usure of it.i dont blame her cause of my track record hasnt been that promising nor have i given her any evidence or proof of it. i am ready to show her her family and my family also i am able and I WILL overcome my addiction… WHAT ARE SOME WAYS OR STRATIGIES TO PROVE TO HER AS WELL AS MY FAMILY THAT IM TRUSTWORTHEE AD SERIOUS ABOUT GETTING SOBER AND STAYING AS WELL!!! AND FOR MY RELATIONSHIP PROVE TO HER THAT IM NOT GOING TO BE DISHONEST OR DICIEVING EVERY AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!

check in to rehab. cant do that full time go to AA or NA meetings, Get a sponsor. and start getting your life back. This is going to take a while. Oh and a good movie to watch is Fire Proof. Its a bit religious but has good point of the movie.
