I have noticed that every time a person consults a doctor and is diagnosed with an illness, he is advised to stop from drinking alcohol. The same thing happened to me. My doctor told me to stop drinking alcohol because he said it will make my condition worse.

Your body considers alcohol to be toxic(for real).
Your liver has to work very hard to metabolize it. It is also very irritating to stomach lining and contains no nutrients, just loads of sugar(empty calories) It also raises your risk of coronary heart disease and diabetes.
