How big is our US Military Budget…WTF??????

These facts are the MOST conservative I could make them. This year’s 2009 expected defense budget is supposed to hit Trillion; obviously, there is WAY to much to cover here and these examples I use are a mere percentage of what is actually going on. Notice there is no inclusion of the funding statistics for the nuclear research, wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, military personnel, ammunition, practice usage of the equipment, and the other thousands of military gadgets and vehicles (both in and out of use). Can you imagine how much the US has spent in just the past 8 years? It’s well over Trillion. One of the main reasons why Osama Bin Laden declares war on us is because of our presence in their countries. That is the MAIN reason, you can listen to him say this in many of his interviews; and the cause of our presence is OIL. We have the ability to be completely self sustainable, and not venture into the business of others; but somehow we can’t quite seem to shake the Machiavellian philosophy. Don’t you think it is costing us (and especially others)?
