A young boy lives in a lonely, abusive home, victimized by his alcoholic father. The boy is forced to beg on the streets of an apathetic world to support his father’s addiction. One night the father beats the boy almost to death (implied, not shown) and throws him out into the street. The weary boy drags himself through the streets while people just pass by.
