He discovers the bottle of pills Belle bought and is furious. He searches her room and finds a stash of sleeping pills. Enraged he throws the pill bottle at the wall, sending the contents flying, and storms out, Later while cleaning up the pills from her bedroom floor Belle is surprised by a knock at the door. It’s Annie, worried she has heard Belle crying. Belle tells her she has a headache and eventually Annie desists. Belle calls Aden the next day and leaves a message begging him to call her, she needs to know where they stand. Out on the trawler, Aden ignores Belle’s messages but later goes to the Beach House and demands an explanation.Belle tells Aden the whole sorry story about her drug addiction. She started because she was depressed and anxious over everything that happened with the development.
