My mom is commencing in a couple weeks. After 15 years of addiction to crack cocaine, she is clean!! She went through rehab and has been clean for two years! I am so proud of her. She is having a fancy dinner at the ritz thrown by the program she was in. Its a pretty big deal, its a black tie event and everything. I want to get her something really special. I was thinking of something that would tell her that i know she has struggled, but i am so proud of her for overcoming her addiction. When she first got out of rehab i framed her a poem and she loved it and shows it to all her friends. I was thinking about maybe another poem but having it engraved.. i really dont know i just want it to be very special and something she will treasure forever. Since you said God Bless, I’m going to assume you and your mom both believe in God. So, my favorite quote, and in my opinion it applies to your mom’s situation, is “Faith makes all things Possible…not Easy”. (I know it’s kind of short, but it seems appropriate to me). Hope that helps. And good for your mom; that must have been extremely difficult for her but she did it!!
