Question by Linda: He has a girlfriend but wants to cuddle with me, no sex involved.?
We are both in recovery, but he is relapsing. He met his bartender girlfriend before he met me. He likes the lifestyle she provides because of his addiction/alcholism. We get along great and he wants to cuddle (hug, sit close, spend time together, go out for cofffee, etc) but no sex, not even kissing. Is this okay? We like each other a lot, but I live a recovering lifestyle which he is not into yet, until he hits bottom. He was a hardcore heroin drug addict, so he believes just drinking and smoking pot is no big deal. He thinks he has his alcoholism under control. The weird part is he used to be a drug/alcohol counselor for many year. Please help.

she provides great sex but he is derived of those other things at home….the recovery has nothing to do with it.
