Start giving them lots of space and time – Start giving them distance. Do not try to call your ex or make any contact with them. They expect you to do all the things in the relationship. Make the calls, compliment them, buy them things. They are the spoiled brat, and you have let it go on too long. If you want things to take a quick change, you must end all this nonsense.

1. Stop spoiling your ex and giving them absolutely everything they want all the time. They expect you to worship the ground they walk on. What’s wrong with you? You are giving them the power to treat you like a piece of junk. You deserve much more than this. You will be treated exactly as you decide you want to be treated. End being nice and doing all the extra things for them.

2. Stop calling them, texting them, cease all contact right now! You must end doing anything for them. Basically do a complete 180 of what you were doing before. Since you were doing everything wrong! If you start doing the exact opposite you will be doing everything right!!! It’s like a chain smoker who has been smoking for years. They are so heavily conditioned and addicted to the cigarettes, once they kick the habit they will suffer withdrawl! It’s the same you stopping spoiling them. They have become so conditioned by it. Everytime you give them something it provides them a “quick hit”. That quick feeling of pleasure they get.

The point is, stop giving them “their hit” for the day! Make them experience life without “the drug”(you constantly catering to them). They will appreciate you much more and start having more respect for you. Don’t ever give in! No matter how tempted you are. It’s just like giving a smoker back his cigarette. The craving will always be there. So it’s completely up to you to end this mess.

3. Date someone new. After you “stop spoiling them” this is the perfect time to go out with someone new! Do you see why this is the perfect time? Let me explain…Now, they have no power over you. So by dating a new person you will basically be sending them the message.”When you don’t receive gifts, you are a lousy person. You have nothing to give. You just take.” This will make them extremely jealous and feel vulnerable.

I guarantee you they will be forced to change their behaviour and they will start chasing after you.
