Has the Christian right destroyed the Republican party?
Question by Dave: Has the Christian right destroyed the Republican party?
Have evangelical Christians who’ve turned the Republican party platform into anti-abortion, anti-gay, and “religious inclusiveness” destroyed the Republican party?
If the party stood for anti-war intervention, drug legalization, and personal liberty when it comes to one’s own sexuality wouldn’t that garner a lot of support from people who vote for Democrats based on social issues?
Why is it that people are drawn to Sarah Palin instead of Gary Johnson, the former libertarian leaning governor of New Mexico?
I think a fiscally conservative/socially liberal candidate would garner a lot of support from both sides of the aisle.
