This movie has SOOO many dumbed(?) down movie items it is scary. Three(3) all red German triplanes(there was only one, the Red Barons and it is still debated if the A/C was, in fact “all red”), the use of Camels by the US Vol. group (they used both Nieuports and Spads) and a Black pilot in the unit (unheard of in WW1, I know, not PC!). along with the ridiculous Zeppelin scene, and idiot script, what a waste. Especially since the Nieuports were built for the movie, and were for sale recently! This movie makes the original “layfette escradrille”(sic) movie of the 1950’s, with Tab hunter a bona fide Historical documentary.
