Good book on crystal meth addiction?

My father was absent most of my life due to his addiction to meth. He has been clean for three years and has been back in my life for about two. I am having trouble bonding with him, it feels like there is a barrier and I thought that if I read about meth addiction it may help me understand were he is coming from. I hope that makes sense, I appreciate any ideas…
