General Hospital – Sept 1998 – Alan’s Drug Addiction Part 37

Part 37. Alan is out of pills and is short tempered with Monica. Monica wants to be involved in his “recovery”. Alan resists her efforts to help him. AJ comes in with news that Jason has disappeared. Alan, thinking the worse, nearly falls apart. They find out that Jason has left the mob and is setting up house with Robin and Michael in Brenda’s cottage. Alan is elated and in his drug induced euphoria, thinks that Jason is coming home. He and AJ get into an argument where he accues AJ and Monica for all of his problems. Alan yells at everyone and leaves. Monica tries to convince AJ (and maybe herself) that Alan’s mood swings are part of withdrawal. You can tell that AJ’s not that convinced.
