Full mouth reconstruction to fix damage from meth abuse?
I’ve been clean for almost two years now, and I really regret getting involved with meth. The damage to my teeth and overall appearance have been terrible…A lot of my teeth have decayed and all of them have been severely worn down as a result of the bruxism involved. My teeth are so worn down that my jaw seems to have shrank, my face seems shorter and has basically just collapsed in.
During my last checkup visit to the dentist, he suggested a “full mouth reconstruction” which would basically fix all my problems. Can anyone please explain what this is all about? All I was told was that it’s very expensive…Where would I go to get this done, how much does it cost, how long does it take? I still have a lot of student loans to pay off and I”m not sure if I can afford it…
