Over 2.1 million teens abused prescription drugs in 2006 alone. Alcohol kills 6.5 times more youth than all other illicit drugs combined. Marijuana causes impaired or reduced short-term memory. Most Drugs can cause increased heart rate making most users paranoid. In the USA, more than 3000 people under the legal age smoke a cigarette for the first time. This happens every day. Over 70% of teen that currently smoke will continue smoking past the legal age. A teenager is more likely to smoke if their friends smoke. Anabolic steroids are mostly used with males to improve athletic performance and gain muscle mass. But steroids cause mood swings and severe brain damage.
