EPA to conduct ‘precautionary’ air testing in E. Woburn
WOBURN – The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) wants to conduct air testing at a handful of properties located in the Wells G & H superfund site to ensure that hazardous pollutants aren’t seeping into the buildings.

I saw the cover on the rug that was found in the Dumpster ( Cover Story, January 20 ). Well, that actually happened to me. I was working on a jobsite by University and 805, and someone actually threw an Afghani Baluch pray rug into the Dumpster. When we pulled it out, I thought it was a Persian rug.

Iroquois Interim Superintendent Takes Voluntary Pay Cut
Recognizing the ongoing financial hurdles faced by the Iroquois Central School District, Interim Superintendent Dr. Bruce Fraser has voluntarily reduced his daily compensation rate by 16 percent. Assistant Superintendent for Business and Finance Douglas Scofield reported Fraser’s change in pay from $ 600 to $ 500 per day to the School Board on Jan. 12.
