Hi. I need some info about the long/short term effect of abuse. whether its spouse, sexual,emotion or etc abuse, Sites or written info can help thanks.

long term- you can be emotionally scarred for life, unable to trust people because the one you trust has hurt you physically/sexually, you may need to seek help such as therapists/counselling

short term- can get nightmares and bad thoughts throughout your day, etc. this can build alot of stress.
