Drug addiction – European solutions for a European problem

The social cost of drug addiction is immense, tearing families apart, wrecking livelihoods and fuelling criminal activity. This week an Italian MEP from our Group, Salvatore Iacolino, has chaired a seminar looking at the problem of drug addiction in the EU – and the importance of a coordinated response with regard to prevention and rehabilitation.
