I want to make it clear that I do not recommend anyone drive under the influence of any mind-altering substance including cannabis, alcohol, prescription drugs etc. I do however support that our government do honest research on cannabis (including its relations to driving ability) and share the facts with people in clear, honest, and informative way. “In another study, 33 percent of people pulled over for reckless driving tested positive for marijuana use.” This is an example of flawed statistic or study. www.sciencedaily.com “Recent research into impairment and traffic accident reports from several countries shows that marijuana taken alone in moderate amounts does not significantly increase a driver’s risk of causing an accident — unlike alcohol, says University of Toronto researcher Alison Smiley, an adjunct professor in the department of mechanical and industrial engineering.
