Yea, the official word now is that Dr. Dre wont be dropping his highly anticipated album “Detox” until the summer of 2008…Now im starting to think that hype will kill this album, alot of people (including myself) have been looking forward to his follow up album almost 10 years now-following The Chronic 2001 (’99), and i think Dre has really put alot of pressure on himself to deliver a classic album, making people wait this long, they’re going to expect nothing short of a flawless album….Do you think all the hype around “Detox” will kill its chances of being a classic when it drops?
