Does Congress have their priorities mixed up?

Question by whitesox09: Does Congress have their priorities mixed up?
If Congress is so concerned about drug use amongst kids, shouldn’t they be more worried about rampant painkiller, marijuana, methamphetamine, etc. usage than steroids and human growth hormone?

I am a huge baseball/sports fan and believe that steroids are indeed an enormous problem in sports, but is preventing the use of steroids in baseball really going to help kids that much?

I’m not saying that Congress has bigger, more important things to be worried about, because drug use amongst kids IS a big problem, and I’m glad they are focusing on it. I just feel like they are investigating the wrong things. Maybe I’m wrong.

There priorities are totally mixed up. This steroid scandal is just a big waste of time.

It just puzzles me as to who actually gives a crap about what some multi-millionaire baseball players pump into their veins. Its just a stupid game.
