I am becoming increasingly worried because, I sing and am able to hit high notes like vocalist from bands such as saosin, circa survive, emarosa, ect. At one point I was with som friends pulling an all nighter working on a track in the studio my voice was fine, we were blowing lines, and didnt have a problem. The next day every thing seemed fine (no hoarse voice, sore throat). Its been about 3 months since then and I’ve been trying to sing and hit notes like before but every time i start to raise the pitch of my voice to higher keys it starts to crack, almost like its giving out on me. It feels very weak in that range now and I have to strain to get i any where remotly close to notes i used to hit with ease. This has never happened and i’ve been sing for about 5 years now. But it is VERY aggervating and alittle depressing. Im not at all positive its from the cocaine because I dont rember the next time i tried singing after that night, but it couldn’t hav been more then 3 or 4 days. Any HELPFUL INPUT ON MY “SPECIFIC” QUESTION WOULD BE EXTREMELY APPRECIATED =]
