Question by Rachael R: Does anyone know of an affordable residential treatment center that specilizes in PTSD and past sexual trauma?
I have tried numerous outpatient treatments and had several hospitalizations due to suicidal thoughts and actions. This is my last hope to get better and I’m afraid if I don’t I will lose this battle. All the places I have found are way beyond my financial capabilites and my insurance will not pay for this. I don’t care where it is I will go anywhere to get the help I need.

I`m assuming you`re in the U.S? Just with the mention of insurance (?) .
The Sidran Institute is one I`ve heard good things about. http://www.sidran.org/ is a link.
http://wiit.com/ is a lnk to The Women’s Institute for Incorporation Therapy. It`s based in Florida. There`s an email address on the link to refer.
http://www.mclean.harvard.edu/overviews/distraum_over.htm is a link to the McLean institute, which is in MA. There is also a link to ask for treatment on their page.
