Does A&E pay for someone to go into treatment after their intervention is shown on TV?

Someone mentioned to me that A&E helps out with the treatment process when an addict goes through an intervention. Can anyone go into detail on how the TV show works behind the scenes? My girlfriend has a family member who really could use the help of a good treatment center to get over her problems. Thanks in much everyone for your help.
