Let’s talk specifics here for a moment.

Would you agree that religion is dangerous, not only to the world as a whole, but also to individual people purely because it blurs the lines between what would be considered insanity and hallucination, and what could be a legitimate spiritual experience? I think that is enough reason to stay the heck away from religion… I mean, all those people who killed their children because they thought God told them to do it… Sick. Let’s ignore the larger-scale wars and hysteria. Drugs like Crystal Meth are illegal because they cause adverse effects like hallucination, paranoia, and delirium… why is religion any different from a terrible drug?
