Do you think a wife should be able to sue her husband for infertility problems caused by use of cocaine? (Cocaine usage lowers sperm count, increases abnormally shaped sperm, and decreases sperm mobility. Infertility problems may last more than two years after a man quits using cocaine.)

No, I don’t think a lawsuit is a reasonable action. On what grounds would the lawsuit be based? Emotional distress? Did he know his sperm count was low? Did she know he was a cocaine abuser (or former user)?

If he knew he had low sperm count and knew she wanted children, then I think she should consider an annulment based on fraud.
