You feel guilt for something you have done, and everyone around you makes their anger and disappointment obvious…and now you are extremely sad..and take it out on yourself, because you feel it is your fault.
Or you are angry because your family is angry at you…
So you turn to violent actions towards yourself; punching walls until your knuckles are torn, cutting some part of your skin deep enough to draw blood, hit/punch yourself until you feel dizzy…anything that will give you pain…
And when you carry out this action you suddenly feel better…
Even though you’re not happy, the much more painful feelings are gone…
You receive the same amount of satisfaction from your self-inflicted pain as a drug addict who takes their daily dosage..
The pain doesn’t hurt…it “feels good”

but you know you’re sane….you’re just addicted to this type of coping…
And you believe this type of coping, is easier, and much more effective than any type of bullshit method from those self-help sites…

Can you relate to this description?
It’s obvious that I’m not directing this message to anyone…
It’s just my way of seeing whether i’m just as sane as anyone else..

Some of you that already caught on, I’ve gone through the process…technically..I’m stuck.
When you’ve already gone through every psychological “help” process…
you know…talking to every living, breathing person..taking every non-effective pill…gone to a pointless, time-wasting clinic..
You’re ability to endure pain becomes stronger…
To those of you that have never experienced such “self-hell”..sounds pretty scary huh?
Because that person, could take their life without any hesitation.

I’m not interested in anyones help..
I was just looking for some intuitive opinions..
Or people that can relate….

It is something that needs a lot of practice to change…like when im upset i use to dig things into the sides of my fingers, the harder id do it the better id feel. Or id bite the inside of my cheek till it bleeds, the harder id bite the better id feel..Its a learned coping behaviour that needs changing by trying to do something less harmfull like as weird as patting your hand or something stupid like that..I still bite but it has now caused me perm’ damage so i try not to and turned to valium instead…its a hard one but therapy may help you…
