We have no say about taxation. no say about the laws that govern us. We don’t even have a say when it comes to death. let’s face it your brain dead in a coma and your family can’t let you go without a courts say so. of course the court costs money and the hospital still charges for the room and machine and medicines. will the government help you with healthcare? no. You can’t even have a cigarette without them adding to your tax burden because you choose to smoke and then dictating where you can smoke. Not to mention those that seek help from the system. If you go for help they run your life or send you out on your on in the streets. crooked law enforcement, lying politicians, decietfully owned judges and back door dealing with us as citizens having no say is the norm. also don’t forget the untouchable health and human services divisions. the very people who say they are protecting children are in fact the biggest endangerment to children. If you didn’t learn you don’t have a say in the government when the bush/gore recount happened your wearing blinders. It’s at the point where parents don’t even have the right to decide what care their children should recieve. once they decide it’s needed you do it or it’s endangerment. Do you really think they will help with the cost of treatment they decide?
Now another issue to prove my point. Marijauna used for over 25,000 years with proven medicinal values is illegal. in the meantime they create new illnesses daily and new drugs to treat them at a cost to you. They commercialize them and prescribe them to children to get them hooked early. they can fix erectile dysfunction yet cancer is still an unknown. Maybe if money and fame didn’t drive this country we’d have a better standing in the international community.
Free under laws we had no say in deciding should be laws? someone says this is illegal. you either say ok or get thrown in a cell. doesn’t sound like a choice or freedom to me.
LMAO craig at home. I do live in texas and until I came here my arguement as a combat veteran was not a tenth of what it is since I came here. I hope they secede because that will be that many less dumb***es screwing things up

I was just using it as an example to make a point about how they decide what’s best without any input. three I have written my state reps both from home in maine and here in tx on various issues and sent questions to obama and his staff. The ones that answer fluff it off due to more pressing issues or promise to look into and never do. Thank you carmen for showing the biggest problem we as americans have. Assuming you know what’s right and judging people without any true knowledge is by far the biggest idiocy we as a nation endure.

charmie I have traveled. On top of fighting in 2 third world countries Somolia and haiti . I have also traveled to more than a few places on the globe so no road trip needed. I agree that some illnesses are valid and medications as well as breakthroughs are made with good reason. I just wonder if you took the money out of it would there be so many. let’s face it if a doc heals you he loses repeat business. Most don’t act responsibly and that is the problem. If a miracle pill came out you wouldn’t need to refill it monthly either would you? considering suicide is on the rise and higher than it’s been for sometime not sure that your arguement there is valid either. good post with good points though
I have never requested assistance from the government. for hurricanes or anything with the notable exception of the va to deal with combat related issues and injuries.
Some of you understand the question better than others but sadly the majority of you just don’t get it. it’s not about finding someplace better, it’s about fixing the problems here. I want my say to be as important as everyone elses no more. it isn’t. the majority of us 98% roughly have no real say and that is the problem. we don’t have a dictator we have a body that dictates what is right and wrong and a judicial system that punishes those who won’t obey and be good little peons. that backs them up while stomping on us and our supposed rights and liberties. privacy is on it’s way out the window. freedom of speech sure but , not where it matters.
