Do past meth abusers that used for at least a couple of years, do they always have some addiction to drugs, either prescriptions or over the counter?

i don’t have any first hand experience with this to be honest, but past meth abusers would probably be highly likely to use other prescription drugs or just other drugs to help get over the past addiction; actually, come to think of it, my friend had an uncle that used to use meth, then he got over that and now is an alcoholic; so basically they are more likely to have an addiction to some kind of drug due to their past and their personality, but they could permanently kick all drugs if they had the right determination.
if your asking if past meth abusers do some kind of over the counter amphetamine, then i bet that is highly likely also. but they don’t need to do it
