Do all TASC drug screens test for the same things?
Question by Skyzzle: Do all TASC drug screens test for the same things?
I’m on probation for possession of marijuana, and I do weekly drug screens. I just would like to know if there are different things tested for different reasons, such as alcohol for a DUI. I know that no matter what they test for THC, LSD, methamphetamines, cocaine, etc. but would they test for alcohol regardless of the situation? If so, how long of a time-window is the alcohol detectable for in your system? Please help! Thank you!

Alcohol washes out pretty quick. Matter of hours. The final product on its metabolic path is acetic acid, an intermediate in many body reactions. If you get hammered Friday night, they won’t be able to detect it on Monday morning. Just don’t get pulled over or have police contact. It would be a concern if you drink the night before a random UA.
Your UAs are generally part of your release or probation conditions, and they’re generally universal. More so if your offense involves drugs/alcohol.
They have an option to test for alcohol and will do so if you have an alcohol abuse history.
