FDA, Vermont liquor board target alcohol energy drinks
The Vermont Liquor Control Board on Wednes day requested that in-state wholesalers stop marketing and selling alcoholic energy drinks, the same day the federal Food and Drug Administration warned manufacturers that the caffeine in the beverages is an “unsafe food additive.”
