Did you know kids who are raised Christian actually do make up their own minds in the end?

Question by sisterzeal: Did you know kids who are raised Christian actually do make up their own minds in the end?
I have seen some disturbing comments that children raised christian are “abused” on this forum. Could those who say that please consider the danger of what you are saying?

For instance, the lead singer of “Creed” was raised Christian and got famous being very anti-God and didn’t believe in God, yet later, his parents prayers he claimed resulted in God becoming real to him. He had no reason to turn to God he was famous without him. Yet he was drawn to him. My daughter was raised Christian and didn’t find Jesus until she almost died from using Meth. He is the one who saved her life, she had Meth Psychosis and was out of her mind. She begged me to pray and the power of God saved her life. I”m not kidding.

So could you reconsider the whole “children raised Christian” are abused statements? You may be taking away some young people’s hope when they really need it! Could you please be less deadly with you tongues when you have no experience to base your statements on? Thanks!

You raise a good point. In the converse of it, many people who were not raised Christian also convert. Parental guidance only is a portion of what influences a child – but in the end we all have our own freewill.
