Question by Nate: dad, serious alcohol issue?
My father has been in and out of alcohol treatment 23 times. He is now 42 and still living with grandma and grandpa. Grandma says that he will soon end up in a nursing home because the alcohol has taken such a grip on his health and he is literally losing his mind. He leaves home for days on end and comes back very sick. I want to find out what bar he is at and beat the living piss out of him but I know that won’t help. I care about him what should I do?
He is in very very dire shape. After 20 some odd years of alcoholism, it takes more than will-power to stop. Also he doesn’t care what I think. In fact, he doesn’t even want to talk to me.

Dad must want to help himself, in order to recover from alcohol addiction.
