CVS fined for meth ingredient sales
Rhode Island-based CVS Pharmacy has agreed to pay a record fine for failing to properly monitor sales of a key methamphetamine ingredient. CVS will pay $ 75 million in fines and forfeit $ 2.6 million in profits from the sale of pseudoephedrine, which is found in some cold medicines.
