Crystal meth for ADHD?

I was researching methamphetamines, and did you know the medication doctors prescribe for ADHD is the same thing as crystal meth? I have always been strongly against medicating children for ADHD believing that all children have different degrees of this invisible illness due to their immature brains, and delays in brain development. Now that I am learning a little more about methamphetimines I am even more strongly against medicating children for “ADHD”. The long term effects of meth, and the withdrawal effects are horrible! My son is extremely hyperactive and would most definitely be diagnosed with ADHD if I started complaining to a few doctors about it. How dare they prescribe my son something so dangerous. I need to research more, but I warn anyone in giving their child any type of methamphetamine!
