The harsh reality of cocaine addiction is that it affects you physically, emotionally and mentally as well.   First, you would find that addicts would suffer financially as they would max up their credit cards and spend all their money on crack instead of settling bills and saving for the future. On top of that, some even use up their welfare cash and finish their savings along with their families on this abused drug. As some fall into bankruptcy and can’t find another source of financial aid to fund their cravings for a quick fix, they stoop down to the lowest level and start to rob stores and houses as well. When this occurs, not only does the addict suffer, they ruin the lives of their children and loved ones as well.   Furthermore, crack addition affects your physical self as well. As that high feeling ware off, the harmful substances left in your body can cause mild to severe conditions. It s your judgments, causes bronchitis, lung cancer, respiratory problems, weight loss, slowed digestion, increased blood pressure, brain seizures and so much more. In emotional and psychological term, you would find that addicts would become easily depressed, they would be terribly paranoid and in more severe cases hallucination occurs.   In conclusion, no one chooses to become an addict, but when you realize someone is in trouble, be the helping hand and reach out because you could be saving a life.
