SAMHSA Awards Up to .9 Million in Grants Promoting Consumer Involvement in Restructuring Mental Health Systems
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) announced that it is awarding up to nearly $ 8.9 million, for 5 years, to fund National Technical Assistance Centers on Consumer/Peer-Run Programs that will strengthen and enhance consumer directed approaches, recovery concepts and empowerment for adults with serious mental illness.
