Council honors Dr. Smith for work in prevention
The North Platte Telegraph As head of Great Plains Regional Medical Center’s emergency room, Dr. Jim Smith knows how big a problem prescription drug abuse is in this community. His knowledge of the subject, as well as his proactive stance on prescription drug abuse, earned him recognition on Friday by the Substance Abuse Prevention System Leadership Lincoln County Council.
