could someone help with information for a story?

i have to write a short story for my creative writing class and i need some help. the story takes place in a teen rehabilitation center and some of my main characters are drug addicts could anyone help me with information on this? i want to make the story as realistic as possible but i’m not acctualyl sure what drug addiction entails..any help would be appreciated..
