Chris Brown Saga. Why has the media convicted him already?

Question by Prettibrneyez23: Chris Brown Saga. Why has the media convicted him already?
I have been quietly listening to this Chris & Rihanna mess and I’m really upset that all these celebs are jumping on the bandwagon of dogging Chris. Only those 2 know what happened, yet in the media Chris is already convicted and according to certain celebs, should spend the rest of his life in jail. How do we know that Rihanna is not the attacker? Just because she came out on the bad end of the stick does not mean that she did not attack him. I am certainly not condoning violence of any kind, but when is it okay to defend oneself? If she “snapped” and attacked him and he defended himself, how does that make him the bad guy? He could not have “snapped” also? Is it only okay for a man to defend himself if… lets say the woman had a gun? A knife? Do we know if she had anything? With all these questions left unanswered how can the media take sides? Does she have a rage problem? Was it a jealous rage? Who knows! Chris could very well be the attacker and at fault in this whole situation, but until we know the facts (which we will not know until both sit down for an interview) then we should leave the “celeb interventions” alone. All these celebs getting arrested for DUI and drug charges, where are the Oprahs and Robin Givens taking a stand and wanting to reach out to them. Is that not just as dangerous as a violent relationship? One of those people can kill YOUR relative driving on the streets intoxicated.
I just want to know if I am the only one that feels this is WAY out of control and the media is not being fair. If he is at fault, then yes, convict and sentence him!!! Meanwhile get him some help. But what if this is all her fault, what do we do then? Sweep it under the rug? Turn our heads and say “oops”. Or still convict Chris because “he has no right to put his hands on a women”. A person (man or female) can only be beaten so many times before they fight back. We tell men “just walk away” but we hug console the women in a violent relationship that cant just “walk away” for financial reasons or whatever the case may be. Why does the man not get the same thing? Because he has a penis? I think that is a major double standard that we need “help” the media clear up. It’s one for all and all for one, man or female. How do you feel?
Thanks 4 your comment Christine but I think you missed my point. Yes I saw some pics of Rihanna with a beaten face. R they the police pics? I, nor you, don’t know that. I also have pics that I created after all of this w/a beaten face although I haven’t been physical abused. A computer & 20 mins can create alot. My point is no one knows what happened in that car. We see some pics that may or may not be real and he’s convicted. I am not defending him. I am asking the question what if he was the victim. Do we know if Chris has any bruises? Just because no pics came out means he didn’t? How do we know who threw the 1st hit? Women need to realize that if u start a fight with a man or woman there is a chance that you will loose. No one deserves to be hit, but everyone has the right to defend himself, against whomever. My question again is why is Chris taking the fall for this when he may be the victim? Since we don’t know & they are not saying, shouldn’t we keep our convictions 2 ourselves?

Did you see the pictures of her beaten up face? Mr. Brown is such a coward and if you don’t see that, I question you stability.

“What if this is all her fault?” That is probably what Chris Brown told her after he beat the crap put of her. Typical abuser comment. “You made me so mad, you made me do it.” Battered women have been told that over and over. I think YOU need some counseling for defending him.
