How do you define child abuse and neglect? what are teh potential cause of abuse? what can be done by Schools, peers media, the community and families themselves to help “in trouble” families and prevent child abuse?

Abuse-anything that is harming the child, whether it be physically, emotionally, or mentally. Neglect- not meeting your childs basic needs (food, a roof over their head, clothing, and attention). The best way to help is if you know that abuse is happening to report it. Educate parents about what they can do when they are frusterated with their children and what children need to have the best chance growing up.
