Canadian expert calls on U.S. FDA to stop ‘unethical’ diabetes drug trial
TORONTO – A leading Canadian drug safety researcher and the consumer advocacy group Public Citizen have called on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to pull the plug on a major international trial of a controversial diabetes drug, Avandia.
