i know you can experience it while on it. but i read on cracked that “overdosing” on it can make you actually gain it for life rather than just while tripping. i cant seem to find any other articles that say that though. so, any clue?

I have syn. naturally, and I am also a part of an international synesthete group, and I have NEVER heard of anyone causing a change to induced syn to natural syn via LSD of any amount…
I have heard of people without syn developing it after a physical injury or as an aura during siezures…neither of which you want to volunteeer yourself for.
Please do not try to permanent damage to yourself in order to “have” synesthesia… you either are or are not a synesthete, just like you are or are not color blind (haha!), right/ left handed(I’m naturally a lefty,but nuns forced me to “write with my right”), or have an elongated 2nd toe (aka Greek toe, Morton’s toe, metatarsus atavicus).
