Can this serious problem turn into an illness?

Question by Love_iz_Therapy: Can this serious problem turn into an illness?
Ok my friend and I have a serious pranking problem. We’re both going to be seniors in highschool this year, but we just can’t seem to stop pranking people. We would call over 50 people in multiple States everyday coming up with multiple pranks to use.We put ourself through a made up pranking “rehab.” Unfortunately, that didn’t work and we were on the pranking “road” again. We got so good at it that it has became a natural.ANY Ideas to help this serious problem from turning into an illness? Honestly I don’t want to be over 40 still pranking people.Although I have a feeling pranking is going to be with me and maybe with my friend for a long time.HELP

This is really interesting, are you being serious?! lol. You need to work out what is the payoff, for you maintaining the behaviour. What you are getting from it. Then find other places or ways, you can get those things. This will lessen the desire to prank. Then also look at the negative impact this behaviour is having on your life. Set yourself realistic goals and stick to them. I know this seems rather funny, but if it is starting to damage your life and impact other areas of your life (job, family, social life etc) then it has become an addiction and you may need professional assistance.
